Hello, For several weeks ive been having bad abdominal pain on my right side. My doc did an ultra sound and a CT but did not see anything other then a fatty liver. Today however i had a rather painful BM and in my poo i saw a couple large lumps. i was able to pull them out (gross) and washed them off. they were about the side of a grape and light brown. to me this sounds exactly like what ive read about Gallstones. however the one difference is they wernt super hard like a stone, the were soft-ish and i was able to pull it apart. probably i similar texture to a piece of corn (no i haven't eaten corn in over a week) Any advice on this would be very helpful.
Accept the diagnosis of a fatty liver. If nothing showed up on the ultrasound, you may not have gallstones. An ultrasound usually picks them up. Gallstones and kidney stones are hard and do not sound like what you describe. If the texture was similar to a piece of corn, it sounds more like undigested food particles. Do a food diary to see what foods may mot be digesting well. I have seen a kidney stone at it was hard and solid with a sharp edge on it. It did not look like something you could break apart as easily as you did. Accept what your doctor told you.
