I took 2 esomeprazole yesterday and yet still had severe acid reflux I am scared as I have been coughing a lot since and I am very chesty
Can anyone give any light to my discussion?
This has happened to me Rob but generally when I've eaten or drank something thats the cause. I would make sure your next tablet is taken on a completely empty stomach and eat lightly all day until you take your next tablet. I also get alot of chest pain and dont know the cause. Hope this helps 
Lol thought snap when I saw this, im on 80mg esomeprozole morning then the same at night, on highest dose possible been told next step an op, but due to having barretts with liw place dysplasia pre cancer ive been accepted for a gastric bypass coz my bmi is 55 or more im on a 6 month fast track which should be up at start of August so hopefully not long until im put on op list, the gastric bypass means u don't have any stomach acid and the barretts esophagus and pre cancer is gone within a otherwise I dont know how I would cope being sick so much with the acid and in so much pain after being sick coz of it burning, if u have changed diet to whst they say u may need to tweek it as ive found stupid things upset my acid like chicken and pasta I can only have if its brown or gluton free, rice does it and I can only have mash or boiled potatoes lol
