I've been burning for almost a year now.

I've been to ma house doctors and they say it's a uti. I eventually went to my gynecologist and she said to go to a urologist. I went to a urologist and they stuck a camera inside my bladder and it was red and blotchy but he said all the tests came back negative in my urinalysis. I went back to my gyencologost and I suggested if it could be my birth control she she told me to stop. They pain has kinda went away but still here. What should I do?

It sounds to me that all of the doctors you've seen so far were not worth a damn.

Try other doctors that will take an active interest in you and will try to find out what it is and a possible cure/treatment.

Tom

I agree with Tom,Im sorry to say but so many doctors now days dont spend the time with a patient, dont keep up on research or pass the buck to another doctor. The doctor's you went to sound like this. Try and find another doctor. It gets time consumeing and expensive for the patient, plus the addrd pain of not getting the problem fixed. Hope you find someone that can help you.Xx

l tend to agree with above posters, been there myself, still am to some extent.  sSeems to be getting worse to me, with some docs anyway, its like if blood tests or one scan doesnt show cause they lose interest, some dont even examine you or seem to study about it. if they say our blader was red htat usually means inflamed, which causes burning, if they mean your urine has no bacteria you still need explanation if its inflamed why, again its patient speculating, unless they confirmed it was def birth control causing it. Did the urologist check for intersticial cystitus when scoping, that causes inflammation and burning without bacteria being present.  Can you ask gp if they checked to make sure no i.c in bladder. You could check on c.o.b site, they specialisin bladder probs and could advice, good luck with it
