I've been depressed for 2 weeks, what should I do?

Most people with mental health problems can get better. Treatment and recovery are ongoing processes that happen over time. The first step is getting help.

Four major dimensions support a life in recovery: a) Health: make informed, healthy choices that support physical and emotional wellbeing, b) Home: have a stable and safe place to live, c) Purpose: engage in meaningful daily activities, such as a job or school, volunteering, caring for your family, or being creative. Work for independence, income, and resources to participate in society, and d) Community: build relationships and social networks that provide support

However hard it may be, you need to see your GP ASAP.

Have you anyone you can talk to/confide in?

Talk on here.....

you’ve made a good start by admitting your depressed.  There is help available, more than there use to be.  Talking does help x

I second that talking does help. I believe people get depressed because they feel they are alone, they feel weak inside and believe there is no solution to their problem. But talking to people helps a lot.
