I did post earlier adding onto another discussion and thanks for those who have replied any tips or advice would be much appreciated
Jilly,
My advise to you would be to read every one of the posts that are written on this site. Your diagnosis could have been a lot worse, there is hope, treatment, and a lot of people who care.
I've been diagnosed since July 2014. I read all the posts and contribute only when I think I have something to offer.
All the best to you!
Thanks it's all a bit strange never heard of this before yesterday
Scary stuff eh, jillyy?
Look, it's not great news I know that, but it could be worse. I'm 5 months in, still trying to learn to live with it - still reading everything I can get my hands on - but I'm getting used to the idea that it's a long road to recovery.
That said, most of the time I live a normal life. I still work, do stuff and I'm pretty active (I'm renovating and I can still paint a room even if it takes a bit longer).
I do enjoy reading this forum to hear that I'm not the only one and that it's not all in my head!
Thank you it's scary because it's all happened so quick will keep reading
