I've been having trouble going to school, what should I do?

Hi i'm a high school student. I haven't been to school lately for the past week due to sickness. And recently I've been better, and what I realise is It's hard for me to even go to school. These past 2 days waking up to go school for me is a challenging thing for me to do. I end up feeling nervous, having a lot of cold sweats, chest pain and even shake. I feel very fearful when it comes to school. I have never felt this way before. I also tend to feel this way at home if im thinking about school. Could it be Anxiety? If so what can I do to help myself overcome this? (P.s. i didn't attend school again today as i caught a fever in the morning, same thing caused by feeling nervous, cold sweats.)

Hi Lilyy, i hv a neighbour who's exactly like you. Afraid to go to school and he vomited everytime he had to go to school. Turned out he had a bad experience in his school with his teacher but i can't remember what exactly. If you having a hard time at school or you don't feel comfortable with your school or friends or teacher or anything, don't hesitate to speak to someone who's willing to listen to you. It's important to talk to someone about it. I'm not a doctor but it could be anxiety, so calm down and relax. You still hv future ahead of you. Gd luck!

Hi, Lilyy

yes this is anxiety..

be calm, serene in your mind..

do some meditation..

nothing adverse is going to happen to you at school, this is for sure..

just keep the  faith..

some times we have anxiety and when we begin the activity, it slowly fades away

so.. if you go to school, anxiety will slowly fade away..

just keep calm.. and be relaxed .. and keep breath slow and relaxed

i can say.. all shall be fine..

talk to parents or anyone whom you confide..

i had similar problem during my school days.. planning for first day after break was most difficult

thereafter it became easy..

so please go to school as soon as fever is over.. nothing adverse shall happen

i say again.. all shall be ok

do not be afraid of these symptoms...just relax

I feel your pain, I was like that in high school and I would literally go in the bathroom and have full blown panic attacks
