Hi all,
I'm a 14 yr-old male, going on 15. I'm blonde, not that freckly, and extremely resistant to sunburn (only once for as long as I can remember). However, I've noticed a mole on my back, and having read some NHS guidelines on melonomas I was becoming slightly worried about it. I've attached a couple of pictures, but as you can see it's extremely difficult to take a photo of yourself at that angle! In any case, it's not really symmetrical, it's at least 6mm in diameter (I think), it's got uneven edges (as I've attempted to portray in the images) and it is, however out of focus the images are, made up of a light brown that's visible and flecks of a slightly darker brown. It's probably also worth mentioning that it's completely flat - as in, you can't feel it's there, there is no physical elevation whatsoever, despite what the pictures may portray. I've noticed this mole in recent months, and have no idea how long it's been there. I'm not sure I've witnessed any visible changes, but having not commited it's appearance to memory I have a sneaking suspicion that the darker flecks may or may not have changed in some way. Anyway, I thought I'd get it checked on here first. Let me know if you need a higher resolution image and I can get someone to take it for me.
Many thanks in advance,
JG
