I've been on my period for about 9 months now. At one point it did go away for a month, but recently it came back and I've been on it for a month now. I'm clotting what feels like balls with stomach pain. I've also noticed some weight gain and unusual markings on my stomach. Any ideas?​

And you haven't gone to the gynocologist ?!? If be in there begging for a hysterectomy !! But it sounds like you have uterine fibroids. Probably many of them and ones that are growing. I never had a period as long as you. My longest was a month. With big clots and on and off gushing blood. I had my fibroid removed and it helped tremendously. So go to a gynocologist as soon as you can!! You won't regret it!!

Thank you tremendously for answering! I guess I haven't went because a couple of years ago I didn't get my period my 9 months. I went to the doctor and she said it was normal and gave me birth control. Within a week my pressure was hitting 180ish so I stopped taking it. Ever since, I just thought irregular periods were part of me. This is, however, getting really uncomfortable so I will go as soon as I can.

Normal. Yeah no. I'd be afraid of my doctor told me that. How old are you if you don't mind my asking. Yes a period that long I'd go nuts. You could be anemic too from that much blood loss. All will work out. Good luck. Keep me posted.

Thank you for responding again. I am 20 years old, I always thought it was weird but since she was my doctor I guess I didn't think twice. This was back when I was 17. I will let you know what happens, thank you!

I have been bleeding for 8 months now.  I have been to the doctor several times.  They don’t seem to care.  I’m off birth control.  Got my tubes tied.  Been on several different hormone pills and nothing works.  Did you ever find out what was wrong.

I had crazy painful cramps and a period that lasted almost 4 months so I went to my doctor. She gave me birth control, but it didn’t do anything. My period lasted another 5 months then dropped off completely. I’m still on the BC and haven’t had a period for almost 3 months now. Did you ever find out what was wrong? Because my doctor pretty much keeps telling me that it’s normal
