Hello i have been tested for hsv 1&2 via pcr booth came back negative. My Doctor that did the test kind of dismissed me and says that they were vaginal tears healing. They do not hurt when touched but some bleeding I was wondering if anyone rose could give me any insight?
I get tears and fissures down there all the time! I get them from rough sex as well and also friction from underwear. My doctor said it was normal to get them and they usually heal within 2-7 days. I put aquaphor on mine, making sure to keep it out of the vagina.
yea im scared that it might be soberin something else but all my test came back negative so i guess it is just some tears
it takes 2-4 months for herpes to show up in the blood. pcr tests arent that reliable, as the herpes virus is only present on the sore for a short amount of time. usually the first 2days of having the sore, is the best time for a pcr test. that could be from rough sex, but the best way to know for sure is at 4 months via blood
did that too ive had 2 negative blood test 5 months since last possible infection the pcr was actually a swab of the sores themselves. So yea im confused
ill explaina a little more i hadnt had sex since april, but i had gotten fingered and had this issue in June. I went in for my blood test in June as well it came back negative and then i went back for another one that also came back negative toward the end of july. Finally get to see my SO we had sex and I woke up to check and thats what it looked like went to the Doctor for a pcr swab Which theeeen also came back negative.
The same thing has been happening to me, every time I have sex or even just get fingered i get a painless lesion in the same place - right next to my vaginal opening. I’ve had one swab test and 7 home blood tests and for herpes and they all come back negative. I’m assuming its just a really sensitive part of skin that flares up whenever theres friction.
any update? i have something similar after rough sex
