I’ve had this bump on my leg for months now, what is it

ive had a bump on my leg for months now it started out as just a small white bump so i didnt think anything of it, then today i noticed it got bigger and changed colour to a darker brown. should i be worried? does anyone know what this is

Could it be an insect bite thats got worse?

I know this doesnt help -but an observation - I was watching a programme called Dr Pimple Popper & an american dermatologist called Dr Sandra Lee deals with things like this -People come in with all kinds of lumps, bumps & usually shes managed to remove it
