Hi all. I am now 10 weeks post op and started back at work today on a phased return at 50% normal hours for the next 4 weeks. I was welcomed back with open arms which felt very good. I stayed more than my 3.5 hours as I was trying to sort out the Christmas party. It felt good to be back (I felt ready) but a little tired now. Could do with going to bed, but we are staying over at friends tonight. Thank you for all the support I have had from this forum. Good bye for now, Joanne

Hi,

I went back Monday after 8 weeks off on reduced hours.  Should have been 10-2 but I stay until 3.30pm.  It's really tiring isn't it.  I'm office based so sit all day but trying to move about and get up as much as I can.  Even though avoiding rush hour my drive home today was 50mins so I was exhausted when I got in and had a nap.

I only have one week left on reduced hours.  It's great to be back and like you was welcomed back warmly but I'm struggling in the evenings as so tired.

If you're tired when you get home have a sleep! Even if it's an hour on the sofa. I've been back nearly 4 weeks now & the first few weeks I was shattered x
