I WENT TO THE NEW PRIMARY

I was fully prepared 7 page packet of neatly typed history, illnesses, and all the specialist (6 of them) and then a list of test that I had come up with . I handed it to her as I figured she could read faster than I could talk and that way everything was covered. As I sat there and she listened to my lungs still (wheezing a month later). As we discussed different things quickly , the doctor comments about my heart rate not being good (first time in almost 20 years) (heart rate runs 110-141 after sitting still for 20 minutes . She asked is I had ever been tested for something concerning the heart beat, I said no ( I hate fibro fog) because I don't remember the type of test. As we continue to speak , she walks over to me and looks at my hands and see splotches, she asked me about them. I said that no one ever made a big deal out of it , so I knew they existed but never did anything about them. She then started saying about 10 things she thought it could be,ofcourse my mind went huh before I heard the last one being lupus. Then we talked about the Thyroid, and all the different things that "thyroid" covers and she didn't say I was dumb or treated me as thought I didn't know anything. It was weird she respected my knowledge. She switched some meds and added a few , but I am still on sadLyricasad . So I am set up to take 10 test and take some predisone and then in a few weeks begin my next batch of testing. It was a nice treat.

I have to ask if anyone feels the same way about Lyrica though , it feels as though it is destroying my stomach lining , has given me the "metal " taste that still hasn't went away one time after the first dose with food, drinlk or none. I have also noticed it really messes with my thinking,I am also twitching but thought that might be the Fibro.  I am starting a small stutter. Is anyone else experienceing this?

I did that with my history of events and it's much easier if it is read my Drs rather than one trying to remember.

Hopefully you can get some answers.  Unfortunately, I'm not on conventional meds so can't assist further.

I am sure others on this forum will advise you.

Take one day at a time and gentle hugs to you.   xx

Thank you, I am trying to get of the conventional drugs. The other night I was drifting off early about 6 and all of a sudden I hear my hubby scream, so I tried jumping up to go see what the matter was, I go to the door of my bedroom and thought that it was all over, I would be diagnosed as paralyzed for ever. I hobbled to my bed after I said my quick prayer . Later to find, my husband had burned the top of his foot with hot water dumping noodles into strainer.

Hi Im like Bee not on any meds so  cant comment on them, stuttering and twitching I have experienced they are to do with fibro.the new dr sounds great so hopefully you will get the help support you need. ask the dr to prescribe something to help with the linning of your stomach my gp has done that for me in the past. take care

Got nothing to say about lyrica as I stopped it quite early on due to heart racing but I just wanted to say glad u found a decent Dr that listened and is exploring all the possibilities.

Conventional meds did not help me at the beginning of my pains 20yrs ago. So at the moment I am on ayruvedic herbal remedies.....they are not pleasant to take but I am willing to try this as it has no harm to the body.  I will be reporting back soon with my experiences.
