I have a bloating and hard to breathe in adomen after eating certain foods. They said it is from IBS and Gastritis does anyone else have this problem..

Hi Margaret I really do not have any pain. My problem is that my abdomen swells and my diapham causes my having a hard time catching my breath .. I am seeing my gastro doctor next week. I have seen a heart doctor etc. but there is nothing wrong. I hate it because I am so uncomfortable. I did google the symptoms and apparently some people do get this problem. I have been watching what I am eating and seeing what may be causing the flare ups.
Ok Sandra. Have had that a couple of times ...or at least sounds the same....in relation to codeine. Just don't touch it now as it did that a couple of times. But then I did have pain then too. So not sure about your symptom Sandra but good you're seeing a gastro. Have they done a gastroscopy before?
Hi Sandra, yes, your symptoms sound similar to mine. It is such a heavy feeling that it feels like its affecting your heart. I had a heart cath over two years ago and cardiologist ruled out heart. This is when I realized it was my digestive system.
