Yesterday i started having bowel movements of only mucus and what appears to be blood. I am calling my doctor this morning just looking for personal experience of what it may be

I’m going in the my primary care doctor at 1 today but I’m guessing I’ll likely need further tests and not find out the cause today ?

i havent been yet i have to wait until 1pm (Im in america in virginia) and waiting is killing me bc im really worried. I dont feel sick or anything just freaked out by it.

My doctor was not helpful at all and just referred me to a GI doctor. I have that appointment Wednesday finally.
