Does anyone else here have IBS? If so, have you noticed a correlation between HS flare ups and IBS symptoms?
I agree, I have H.S and what I told was IBS. for a long time, but the IBS was basically a milk allergy for me. I became very sick on milk products so I avoided milk products for 25 years and still had bad IBS . All it took is one missed item and IBS would last for a week. Cheese is sneaked into a lot of things, lactose pills didnt help. I quickly shutdown the IBS with one dose of immudium then followed up with 2 days doses of pepto. That would reset my stomach.
I am allergic to a ton of things, I had a skin test to see what I am allergic to and it came back with I am allergic to everything they tested on me.
I had an elimination food diet and thats how I food out it was milk products.
H.S under control for a year now and IBS under control for 6 months. No milk products, except for pizza with mozzerala once a week with 2 lactose pills seems to not bother me.
Cakes and other pastry sweets are bad for me.
I think when hour allergic to a lot of stuff your immune system goes crazy.
