New article in Healio called, “IC-8 IOL submitted for premarket approval”
I have heard of this lens but hard to get much information on it.
I followed it a bit, but decided it was not for me. I think it limits to some degree what can be done on the eye in the future, due to blocked area. I am also adverse to new technology. I find a lot of meaning in the old saying “Be not the first to try the new, nor the last to throw out the old”. Or, something like that. The other saying is about the “leading edge vs the bleeding edge”. An example of bleeding edge would be the engine used on the F-35. They are running temperatures in the hot section never used in any commercial aircraft before. They have now grounded some F-35’s due to engine issues.
