Morning Carol just to add to that late nice nutty post, the Independance Living catalogue has some very nice ice packs, plastic wrapped chemicals that are cool to the touch, they might be worh a look if you are finding icepacks are working for you.

I like the ice packs, I have got gel pads you can freeze but done freeze if you catch my drift (picking up bad wording from grand children especially the eldest one lol) I put them in a thinnest t towel and wrap round at least the towel stays dry lol

I have to watch how hot I have things because being diabetic I have to watch out for neuropathy but touch wood been very lucky so far same if I use ice pack only for a very short time
