If it wasn't for all the medication!

Well, I'm packed and ready to go (ish) 8) and if it wasn't for the medication I'd have had room for some clothes. Hey Ho! Who needs a wisp of floaty chiffon dress or pastel crops with little vesty tops (who am I kidding  ) when you can have every imaginable medication in every size possible (just in case). Take care everyone, especially those going through a hard time just now. Keep the posts warm for me while I'm away - missing you already.

Lizzie Ellen

PS: Sort of going off the idea of scuba diving, someone mentioned going down 9 mtrs. Ummmmmmmmmmmm :fish:

Hi Lizzie Ellen

Don't forget your dosage chart along with all those pills! :?

Thanks Mrs. O. I'm so organised, 14 days tablets in two weekly pill dispensers in my handbag, spare tablets for the 'just in case' events and a dosage chart 'because I can'. Its belt and braces all the way!!

xx

Hi Lizzie Ellen

Yes I seem to talke enough tablets for about 3 months now even if I am going for a week !!!! It used to be extra contact lenses just in case But when you look at the disruptions there were earlier this year Id rather be safe than sorry !!

Have a fantastic time and bring us back some sun !!

Best wishes Mrs G

Hallo LizzieEllen. I expect by the time you read this you'll be abck home all tanned and topped up with VitD. Hope you have a wonderful time and don't need those belts and braces. BettyE

Hi Lizzie Ellen & all,

Hope you had a great holiday Lizzie Ellen...I am 24 hours home from mine & can't believe how cold and dark it is here now...had got quite nicely used to waking up to sun & heat sad .

I definately found that I was far more moblie & pain free when I was away, & although my energy levels were poor at the start, they improved over the course of my time in a sunnier climate.

I was on 14mgs before I went away and went down to 13 with no problems at all, so am delighted with that 8) .....maybe the extra vit D helped a bit

Roll on Spring & lets all hope that this winter is not as bad as last year or we will all be stuck in-doors for days on end in our thermals

Love to all, pauline.

Hi Pauline

Glad you had a good holiday It is so horrible to leave that sunshine !!

I think it is partly Vit D but i do think you just move more as well beacause it is so pleasant just to be out in the warm weather

Good you managed to go down another 1mg with no problem I am now on 4mg and feel OK As this was the level last December that I started to feel achey and went into a full meltdown in Jan and up to 15mg I am keeping a very open mind about my reduction plan

Weather forecasts are dire at the moment so will be wrapping up warm Cant remember snow in our part of the country before Christmas before so fingers crossed it doesent come Am studying trips to the sun over Chriustmas and New Year at the moment If we hadnt ended up flying locally last year we wouldnt have got away as the road to London were all iced up !!!!!

Best wishes

Mrs G

Hi Pauline

A warm welcome back from your holiday although sorry I can't say the same for the weather. sad However, hope you've now stored up enough Vit D from the sun to help you through the climate change  !

That's great news that you managed to reduce whilst away and probably speaks volumes for the effect that the warm, sunny weather had on your body 8).

As for thermals, after reading the forecast for snow in the South East before December, I have just ordered a complete range of thermals in the hope that I can still manage to get out for my daily walk without ending up feeling like a block of ice! :snowball:
