ill after passing normal motion

I was diagnosed nearly year ago  but since reducing my fruit intake to three pieces a day and eliminating many foods I have been more able to cope.  My problem is not so much Bm but wind and abdominable cramps.  Recently I have had regular bm but there are days when I am ill.

I get up feeling fine bursting with energy, a couple of hours later I have a bm no problems, no straining, nothing, then the trouble starts.  I begin to  feel nauseous, stomach feels as though I have had the runs,  my head is full of cold,I also feel the need to keep clearing my throat.  I can't get warm, in the end I just jave to lie down as I feel so weak. Sometimes I fall asleep. Ocassionally it is accompanied by lower back pain. I have had the odd flare up when I feel as if I am burning up.   This can last for a couple of hours to a whole day  I still feel quite tired the nest day,

Anyone had this experience?  Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

I get similar effect but completely different symptoms.  Even if I have a normal bm I can still end up perspiring and then I get a little shaky and feel the need for a lie down as my energy is sapped or what seems to happen a lot is making a peppermint tea siting on the sofa and falling asleep.  I did that this morning so only doing a half day today. I am still tired but I am in.  It only lasts all day for me if I have had a more fierce bm. With those I experience sickness and I go back to bed for about 4 or 5 hours and usually start to feel better.  Also wake hungry and usually wolf down a bowl of soup.  I have tried more normal food but that can start things off again so I have found soup most helpful.

I have this right now! Woke up at midnight needing to go, normal to loose bm and all day today I've been bloated, felt sick and just generally felt vile!!! Feel like I've had the bug from hell when in reality I went 3 times and 2 were just wind! It's so annoying!!!

Everything seems to be a trigger this month too! 😩

I don't get many bad flare ups but I do clear my throat a lot due to silent acid reflux and also when I feel the acid coming up.  Acid reflux goes along woth IBS.  Try an antacid or milk, if you can tolerate it.  If acid is the cause, it stops the cough.
