To start off, people have always told me my social skills are off. every single group of people I have ever know have told me this from secondary school to college. I’ve always struggled keeping conversations, i get overwhelmed in social spaces like buses or streets. Making friends in difficult for me, the only way i make friends is by spending lots of time around people, not through talking or anything like that. As well as this i get distracted really easily and find my thoughts hard to control however the only thing keeping me from asking a doctor, is apart from my social skills and my attention span I’m pretty ordinary. i got all C’s in my GCSE’s, i don’t really excel in anything. i sort of understand the unspoken rules of socialising, for example I’ll sound angry when spoken to and at the time won’t understand that it was rude, but afterwards I’ll regret being so rude.
In your opinion do you think its a good idea to see a doctor about it?
