So today i went to my doctor and i found out i have chlamydia. I had the doctor check my vagina, because i have these weird bumps on the opening of my vagina. It does not burn but it sometimes i get a tingly feeling down their sometimes. My doctor said it looks like a rash. He told me to take my medication to treat my chlamydia. But i feel like it is not a rash. I am worried if it is herpes. Helppp ive been sad for so many weeks.. and crying. Even tho the doctor said no.. i want some other comments. Also, i told my doctor after the medication i want to get checked for Herpes and all types of Stds.
Nothing to worry about. The ‘weird bumps’ on the left vulva are Fordyce spots, which are collections of sebaceous (grease) glands. If you examine yourself carefully, you will probably see a similar area on the opposite vulva.
There are good descriptions here:
No treatment is necessary despite what people say. Getting a sexual health check is always a good idea if you’re dating a new partner, but Fordyce spots are not a sexually-transmitted condition.
