I noticed this afternoon when I woke from a nap that it felt like I had a rash in the crease of my butt and thigh area. This was not there when I showered before bed last night but unfortunately does seem to fit the descriptions I've found when researching information online. I will be going to get tested Monday and have prepared myself for the worst but having other opinions will help ease my mind either way.

They look like herpes but also look like shingles. Shingles is caused by herpes zoster. Herpes zoster is the same viral infection that causes chicken pox. If you’ve had chicken pox it could be either. They’re both herpes so your will probably just have to wait for confirmation of which one you have.
