I was diagnosed with herpes over two weeks ago. I have type 1. I've checked and I'm all healed and I feel pretty good. But when I tried having sex for the first time again I had light bleeding and some tissue pain. Could it be from the newly healed skin being fragile? Has anyone else experienced this before?
It's not herpes if that's what your asking. Herpes 1 is super common it's cold sores.
As far as light bleeding I think your saying this is the second time you had sex after the first time? It's pretty normal. Through some terrible evolution, vaginas start out smaller than most penises. It's just the result.of additional stretching and tearing. You'll likely experience this again when you encounter.a larger penis. I would only.be concerned if this was still happening with a few rounds under the belt. Also you might get a little of this tearing after accepting a new partner after a long hiatus from sex. I also just had a first outbreak -- a few days after my boyfriend went down on me with a cold sore starting. My blood tests were negative but the doctor said it's probably because too soon so I think it's safe to say it's HSV-1. Anyway I also had sex recently for the first time after the outbreak and also had pain. It wasn't severe, but I couldn't help but wonder if it's because of the virus or if it's a psychological side effect after the trauma of the first outbreak. Curious to hear if others have experienced the same. I've never had to use lube before but maybe that would help?
I tested positive for HSV1 on my vagina and I had sex for the first time after a month after my first outbreak. I got it from my boyfriend, but the last thing i wanted was for him to end up with it down there. so we waited a awhile and I also wanted to make sure my skin wasn’t as weak and sore, I actually bled very lightly but enough that he noticed and it was kind of sore after. I also got a Bacterial infection after I finished my valtrex so idk if it’s from the BV or the outbreak. I heard lube does help, but I have no problems getting wet. so I don’t really know what else to do. but you’re not alone.
