im fairly new to anxiety attacks have had them for about threeweeks now

my left side of my face is numb and my chest and shoulders feel tight and i hav chest and heart palpatations and this sucks does anyone know way to stop it ? im a bit scared to go to thedoctor please any advice helps

my advice GO TO THE DOCTOR don't be scared you will be glad you did don't hold off go soon

I'm very new at them too but someone just recommended that I download something along the lines of guided meditation. If you're a Prime member on Amazon you can get them for free. But even if you have to pay, places like Walmart are just not very expensive at all. You will need to download it to your phone or tablet.

I just realized you said something about your left side of your face was numb. Look in the mirror and see if you can smile evenly. This is very important because if you cannot smile even leave you need to hustle down to the emergency room because that's a sign of a stroke.

I guess u should visit the doctor.. dont be afraid to go to doc.. i too get anxiety attacks.. feels like squeeze chest.. chest pain, arm pain mild that too on left side.. so I went to doc did ECG all came normal.. she said it's muscular pain.. and sometimes its our mind who play games.. the more u think.. the more ull feel it.. so try to distract ur mind.. Meditation would help.. coz it's helping me, it would take time.. but it's worth.. cheers.. go for it..

Most of us know the feeling of putting off the doctor due to fear. When I make the appointment I like to remind myself over and over that this is something that will help me and help me get better. Please don't put it off, take care of yourself and I hope it all works out. Keep us updated! Best of luck ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Mario,

I have the same symptoms caused by anxiety I usually pop a piece of gum in my mouth when I get the facial numbness, and will do some facial exercises to increase blood flow to the area. Good Luck!

it stpopped after a few hours my anxiety is very bad but the doctors wont provide medication due to the fact i havent seen a physcologist yet ):
