Pls I need an urgent help from experts

Thanks to all

Get a second and third opinion.

What toric lens?

Thaks a lot

The idea is I dont know any doctors who is doing this operation

The doctors who I so prefered cotact lens which I dont like

Toric lens is IOL lens which is imlamented inside the eye specialy for astigmatism problem

Pinhole contact lens or pinhole IOL is a terrible idea for fixing the glare problem caused by astigmatism. You may end up with less glare, but you will have much worse low light vision. Your pupil will essentially be practically closed (as if the sun is out) instead of being open as it naturally does at night to let one see in low light.

If the astigmatism is the real problem and you don't want to use glasses or contact lenses to correct it, the LASIK is one of the other options to correct your vision.

Thanks dear for your reply. Did your idea based on experiance or else. Because as all doctors say I will not get benefit from laser or lasik due to scars from RK procedure. And do you mean the problem will be in dark only explain me more by examples Im interested in your idea.

Please help

Thanks a lot

More over my pupil is already stay dilated after cataract surgery. Is this a reason for my case to do the procedure. As I read from net the pinhole is designed for those who are having same my problem i.e big pupil, scars from RK, high astigmatism.. Do you know some body did this procedue.please advice

Thanks and sorry for many questions I hope you understand my situation..

I really think that your need to get 2 more opinions from other Opthalmologist.

I did not know that you had had PRK in the past. However, In general, that should not rule out having LASIK for the rest of one's life. If you have already talked with a LASIK specialist, then you have covered that ground. If you have just talked with non-LASIK specialists, then I will suggest seeing one to be clear on what can be or cannot be done.

When did you have your cataract surgery? While it is not common, the eye can sometimes take almost a week? Has your doctor told you why your pupil has stayed dilated after cataract surgery? I understand that there are also drops which help the pupil contract.

The main message is that you should not be in a hurry to have another implant in the eye. There are many other potentially better options which you should explore before making the final decision.

Thanks again

Actually I did it before 2.5 months

I asked you some questions could you please answer them so I can get more clear idea from you

Regards

Actually I did not have an idea about this procedure. It is the first time I heard about it and no doctors before informed me about it

That is why I put my question here to get more ideas from patients.

Yes my pupil will stay dilated az dr said and this is one disavantage of cataract surgery

And regarding the drops I already used PILOCAR for more than 10 days but no benefit moreover it is causing a very strong headach

I am not qualified to comment on your situation. You should be talking to an Opthalmologist!!!!!

Thanks a lot for your help.
