But they have side effects which make me concerned. Right now i feel like fainting, i cant breathe i feel my body like a ton of bricks im scared ill faint and my heart will stop. I feel like fainting and then i get panicked and then it gets even worse, my hands and feet are cold and sweaty, im hoarsing sometimes and i get all sorts of pains under my ribs, side of my chest , nexk. I cant go to school, and im planning to see a counseller. Ive taken my bloods and ekg and besides my thyroid which has 1 of the numbers red everything is ol but i feel like dying and idk what to. Even tho i have days when i feel ok sometimes i feel like imma just faint cuz i get very dizzy and i cant breathe. Idk what the hell to do onestly. Is it a serious problem any advice please?
HI Alex you have a the classic sign of anxiety, pain all over strange feeling feeling like you are dizzy going to collapse and an overwhelming feeling you are dying and chest pains are all anxiety im afraid but just to be on the safe side get you doctor to check out your chest pains, but i'm afraid anxiety can cause all most all sorts of symptoms to many to mention
I don't know what propranorol is but yes it sounds like anxiety and you could use maybe something like klonopin. It's an anti anxiety med. Most people I know of have no side effects. I've had some side pain and think it's cancer and started getting symptoms of it. But my doctor said it's not but ordered test to ease my mind. But after taking my klonopin I calm down and can continue on with my day. I'm sorry you had to witness your father's heart attack. My father had one too. So I understand. Consider talking to a therapist too to help you along. It will help.
First, very sorry you had to watch your Dad go through that, that is probably where your anxiety is stemming from. Second, thyroid problems can cause a lot of the symptoms you are describing, talk to your doctor about getting that looked into more and about medication to regulate your thyroid as it might help with lessening your symptoms. Third, and most important, go and see a counselor/therapist about what you went through with your Dad's heart attack. Just having someone to talk to and discuss your fears with can really help with these horrible symptoms your body has decided to throw at you. You may even be experiencing a type of PTSD, witnessing that is a traumatic event. I'm not a doctor or even close but I've seen my fair share of psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists so I know you might benefit greatly from seeking treatment for your anxiety symptoms. And last but not least, you are not your Dad. Yes genetics does play a role in our health but just because your Dad had a heart attack does not mean you will. Best of luck to you!!!
