Hi, this is my first time on the pill and I’m near the end of the 22 day cycles. Without the pill my period would be due to start today but obviously while taking the pill it shouldn’t. I never miss a pill and only one I’ve taken it late which was only by a hour & a half. I had sex for the first time with my bf 2 days ago, but he pulled out. I’ve done over sexual stuff with him before thing but we’ve been very careful. My Vulva is also slightly itchy and it have had some thickish discharge for the past few which I have been treating with aloe Vera gel and sudocreme. Please can someone help or at least give me an idea what’s going on. Thank you!
The discharge is probably normal. However, you've got to realize that pulling out is tricky; the timing is crucial. As much as we believe and trust in ourselves, sometimes we get paralyzed by the deeply pleasurable sensation of climax that we pull out a tad too late. That is why we shouldn't be surprised when an unwanted pregnancy happens.
Beside miscalculating the timing, there's something called pre-cum or pre-ejaculation. We have absolutely no control over that. It happens to make a way for the sperms to swim to target as they should. It's not uncommon for it to contain traces of sperm. That's what causes the most surprising pregnancies.
As for STD, the discharge might be an unusual one, often with a different color or distinct odor to it. If the itching persists or gets worse, then it's time to check it out with the doctor.
