I an 14 and found a hard round lump in my right breast sitting at the top. I told mum and she told me that its not normal and i start getting really worried and scared.she said she'd get me into a doctor but its like forever. It is said that people can get the during menstruation but i have had my periods for 2 years now and this is the first time i have ever felt one. What should i do. Im scared and worried?
Hi, I wouldn't worry too much - I know, easier said than done, but although possible, you are young for breast cancer worries - I was told this when I had a lump investigated, I was in my early 20s at the time. I was also told it was most like fibrous lumps and bumps that can occur around menstruation.
I know it's hard when you've found something to worry constantly about it but hopefully you will be able to see your GP soon and he/she will be able to put your mind at rest.

Hi, 1 in 5 women (or sometimes girls) may develop some kind of lumps on the breast through out the years, but they are totally harmless and only a very miniscule portion of those develop into something dangerous like cancer. Given that you are so young, and I hope, no heredity problems with breast cancer - I would really not worry too much about it 
No need to stress! You can check up at a clinic if you want to make sure.
