So I met a guy around November we hooked up and the last time we have had sex was in February because this baby mama claimed he had herpes. Well, figuring she was being a jealous baby mama just saying things, I kinda just said whatever. I ended up meeting a guy recently that I really likes, we hit it off, and ended up have intercourse after a period of time of getting to know each other. Well, 4 days after him and I had sex I started feeling pain around my vagina and buttocks. Literally at the same time this started, I had recently gotten my tongue pierced and it got infected, my tongue was so swollen and in pain I couldn't talk or eat. All of this literally started at the same time so I ended up with major fevers running 104.+ meanwhile, downstairs I was dealing with a lot of rawness. And sores. These sores I couldn't really see but they felt kinda blistery. I would use the bathroom and it wouldn't burn as I pee but if urine touched the sores it burned. I ended up in the hospital and after three days being inn there I was told I had chlamydia and PID. I was given medication for that. A week it took for the medication to be finishes and I had a follow up appointment with the OBGYN. She looked at me and apparently in the doctor didn't see the sores because he didn't really look. So she checks me out and tells me its either a really bad yeast infection...or its herpes. She swabbed one of the sores to test and gave me here medication and said even if I don't have it it won't hurt anything, but if I did have it it would treat it. Its been three days after my appointment, I have only about 4 pills left of my medication.
Now the first guy I told you about I seen papers of him and his baby mama both testing negative for any std including herpes. His results were at the end up march. Hers were at the very end of April. I do think its possible that he went get tested and got care for it, then got tested again and it's not showing up. I could also have gotten something from the second guy. I'm not positive who it would have came from. I still have yet to hear results so I don't know. Now lately my symptoms have been really itchy, irritated, etc.
For anyone who does have herpes, or is widely educated on this matter, what are the chances of having herpes going get tested, test positive and then take medication for it. Then to go get tested for it again afterwards and it showing negative? Or when you test for herpes would it always show positive even if you've been medicated for it?
If that sounds confusing I'm just trying to figure my chances with the first guy actually having herpes despite a negative test result for it.
Please help...
