So my parents are making me get a MRI and I am sooo scared! What if something bad comes back? What’s if these sharp pains are a brain tumor. Btw, I passed my neurologist exam so do I have a brain tumor? I have no other symptoms and do gymnastics. Ugh I’m sooo scared
I mean this with the best intentions sweetheart but you have been worried sick not knowing, so either way you're scared. Your parents will be doing this to finally get you some piece of mind either way.
It's highly doubtful you'd be able to do gymnastics if you had a brain tumor so take some deep breaths and try to remain calm. MRIs sound scary but they won't hurt you xx
I’m just so scared something bad will show up and I will have to have treatment. I feel like everyone takes to granted being healthy😪
Treat this like an adventure. Most people will have an mri at some point in their lives. I had one last year for the first time. I was scared too, but it was really interesting. Afterwards you get to see images of your own brain. Think about that! It’s strange but really incredible when you see it. It’s highly unlikely there is anything wrong.. but it will be over before you know it and you will know for sure :-)
Good on you maya I would be scared aswell but this will get you through this tough patch with your anxiety and all be worth it once you get your results which will be normal ok. I am proud of you for doing this good luck.
The scared feeling you have now is the worse part of it. Trust me, you're better having it and knowing.
You're worried you may have brain tumor, so think of it this way. If they find something, you're young and otherwise clearly healthy so likelihood is with treatment you'll be fine.
If you don't have it done and it was something (worse case) you'd just get worse and eventually other symptoms would appear trust me. You'd get very ill if you left it unchecked and it was something. So the something bad you're worried about is more likely to stem from you not having this done.
More likely you'll have it and results will be fine, so you can find relief finally and know that these symptoms are not anything to worry about. Xx
