Been like this since late July. It doesn’t itch but it burns here and there. Under the head (the rim of penis) I went to the doc and got it looked at and swabbed. Test came back negative. Also my new partner said she had headaches, pain behind the eyes and lower back pain. I used protection every time we had sex but now I’m worried I have herpes or something. Can anyone help??

Thanks for the replies! If you look close at the rim (glan) there are some bumps that were not there before. They are rough to the touch but do not itch, have not busted open or anything. They do burn sometimes, I put lotion and hydrocortisone on it for over a month. It feels likes herpes and is dry I guess. Like I said doc tested it but I kind of don’t trust him.
What is the best way to test for herpes? I was swabbed a few days after noticing the bumps. I’m just super scared and worried because the gf is cocomplaining of headaches, backaches and pain behind the eyes.
