Hola a todos, solo me pregunto si alguien toma cápsulas del tipo Imodium de forma regular como yo para la temida diarrea, sé que sufrimos de estreñimiento o diarrea, pero nunca he tenido problemas con la necesidad de ir, es solo una idea.

Hi Yvonne,

I take immodium on a regular basis however I just found out from my GP that you should take it no more than once a week.

I was a little upset especially if I havevan event or something to do as it does stop the diarreah.

Hola Vivian, mi médico de cabecera me lo receta y lo tomo todas las mañanas, si no lo hago me siento enferma con calambres en el estómago.

Hola Vivian, si no tomo el Imodium tengo diarrea o heces muy sueltas todo el día y calambres estomacales. Puedo orinar por Inglaterra y mi vejiga se siente muy incómoda. Tuve una colonoscopia en octubre de 2014 y me dijeron que tenía múltiples divertículos en el sigmoide. Voy a ver a un gastroenterólogo el miércoles, así que espero que tengan respuestas para mí. Solo me preguntaba si alguien más usa el Imodium como yo.

I paid to see a gastroenterologist he did a sigmoidoscopy but wants to do a flexible one It cost me over 500 pounds so I have told them I want to go down the NHS so waiting for a appointment. He did put my mind at rest I am seeing a nutritionist that I am paying for she is going to test for allergies.

He said everything looked ok but he wants to do a flexible one to look at the diverticula. I had a colonoscopy last year found DD and a polyp which was ok

No nausea but did lose appetite but don't know if the loss of appetite is due to the loss of my Brother and Mother last year just months apart.

I was a bit worried about taking the Imodium every day as that was not prescribed on the tablets but I take it every day and still have loose stools twice a day. Today I took the Imodium plus and must say it made me feel quite ill and I was drinking water for Britain! Don't think I will take that again. My flare up started 4 weeks ago and was by far the worst never had so much pain. Dr prescribed fybergel and high fibre diet. Gotta be joking. I think I am a long way off fibre and fibergel. Even a soft diet makes me run to the loo. Like you all I just want to get better and have a life.

Hola Wynn, vi a un especialista el miércoles y dijo que tenía SII además de la diverticulosis, por lo que me recomendó reducir la fibra y tomar el Imodium a diario no es un problema.
