Hiya everyone,ive not posted for a few days but i have been on reading through all the posts i am still hanging in doing my 30g or less of fat a day and in the last week some basic walking and since starting the tablets at the end of March i have lost 5.5lbs and the weird thing for me i am losing more in inches i have gone from a size 16 to a size 14 so what is more important the scales or the inches lost?

4th May 11 12st 10.5

Hi India-Rose. In my opinion I don't know whether it's the inches or the scales as long as the fat itself is going away as that is what will cause the health issues. It is weird though. A couple of years back I was on the last hole on my belt, I lost weight and got down to the 4th hole. I put all the weight back on and was still using the 4th hole. I think there are a lot more factors involved, age definitley being one of them. In my 20's and 30's I could change my diet and lose weight easily without increasing my exercise. Now, at not far off 50, I have to exercise too

I think both are important You are losing weight firming up and as a result your shape is changing. Dropping a size already is brilliant keep it up :D
Thank you SallyB and Trying-hard it really does help to know that in the fight to take control of our weight we still get lost and confused from time to time,even with the positives! :D x
