Anyone get more migrains wirh metropolol? Or jaw or hip pain
YES, A few years ago I was taking 50mg daily of that horrid drug. The headaches were scary. At times I thought my head was going to explode. Every morning at exactly 11am the headaches would come on...exactly 3 hrs after taking the medication. I knew it wasnt the other bp medications because I didnt have that affect with them. Finally I went back to my Doctor and told him I couldnt take it any longer. A while later he put me on Atenolol...I did not, nor do I get the headaches from that. A pharmacist friend of mine told me that Atenolol is water soluable whereas Metropolol is not, or its the other way round, I cant totally recall.Dont suffer needlessly because of some medication thats just not what your body will tolerate. Dont just stop taking the Metropolol...it must be weaned, but if your Dr prescribes Atenolol, you can go right from one to the other.
How long after stopping did the headache go away.
And did you have jaw and hip pain
