My anxiety was up going from 50 to 75 but I was OK 75 to 100mg. It took a few weeks to settle in. I'm now needed to up to 150mg as my doctors asked but I'm scared

thanks for responding. Did you get all the initial side effects when you upped. I am nervous because I don't really want to go there again. My mood is still low so that is the reason for the increase. What symptoms or how do you know when to increase?

As you do not state which medication you are thinking of increasing, I can only advise you not to stray away from your doctor's recommendation.

am on sertraline. Just nervous of upping because of side effects. Been through the mill with these.

Hi Lynda, I am on serline 100mg. It helps me, no side affects been on the for a while. Everyone is different.
Its hard to say when I first started I was in a bad way so I didn't really know the side up effects. Its hard to separate the meds and the illness. Iv postnatal depression and server anxiety with it. It say increase causes me upset and I become unsettled but as your going up in 25mgs you should be fine. If your OK on 75mg 100mg shouldn't be much difference. Iv been on 100mg 4weeks now x
How long u been on the meds? I increased as my mood dropped again and didn't come back up like u I did 50 then 75 then 100mg
You do have a point Lynda, but if the increase was at your doctor's suggestion, then he/she might have had reasonable cause to suggest this to you.
