if i was to increase my meds on my own would this mean that because i was taking more than im supposed to that the surgery would say i couldnt have more pills? i prrobably wont do it but i was just wondering
I would suggest that if you sometimes take a higher dose on some days than others due to your pain levels, this is something many do..and is about managing your pain based on your degree of each day.. There is no reason at all to disclose this. Im sure they assume this is done anyhow. Don't complicate it, and just let him write your usual prescriptions.
Glenn, check with your GP before increasing the dose. He or she may be happy to talk to you on the phone. My surgery arranges telephone consultations: we just have to phone the surgery staff to arrange it.
thats not a good idea. Your body could react badly.
Unless your a Dr with a medical background that knows exactly what the drugs do to your body then its a bad idea.
Speak to your GP or Dr about it.
