Most Indian dishes include lots of oil , this is how I got to 15stones as I married a Pakistani chef haha.
You need to be realllllly careful with anything you're going to eat, I'd lay off the tablets for the week as you're bound to get side effects and spoil your birthday

I agree, full of fat.
I'm half Indian and my dad always making curry. I've had some but the smallest amount of curry, stuck to chicken and had more rice. Had lentils too.
You won't be able to eat the nan bread either.

If I had dry chicken tikka (no masala sauce) rice and chipatis would that work?
You have to google chapatis and see, some are made with ghee - high fat. You don't want your ruin your evening running to the loo. Rice is safe for sure, sure you don't want just plain rice thou lol when my dad makes curry I have a child size portion of the chicken to avoid an oil rush - ha ha ha
It is hard, I went out with the girls at the weekend, they went wagamama - torture whilst I was dribbling over their noodles lol and I ate the lobster salad, it was gorgeous. Then the little madams ordered dessert whilst I sipped green tea lol
Maybe think an Italian as you could do pasta? Or just have a break from the tablets and enjoy your birthday and just get back on them and be 100% from then. You only get a birthday once a year. Don't know Bout you but I reckon I be on these for at least 4-6 months if not longer as I want 4-5 stone off. I'm on holiday in 3 weeks and I'm coming off them as I know the rest of the year will be on point.
I'm only on my 3rd week so don't really want to stop taking them so early into it ... Will just have to do a bit kore homework as to what to eat before I go!
