I have read on here a few people saying about indian gooseberry and i was wanting to try it as my ALT is high. Is it best to have powder, tincture, dried or capsules?

It might be best to find out from a doctor why your ALT is high before trying a treatment. different causes of elevated enzymes respond to different treatments.
Looking back at other posts i see you have MR/cfs and think you might have lupus. Your ALT last measured was in the 90's? How long has it been elevated, ie can you track it over the last few months/years and is it always high, or is this just a 'blip'.
If you are seeing a specialist you can ask them about taking indian gooseberry but most UK doctors would prefer not to have alternative treatments mixed in with conventional unless they approve. If taking alternative meds affects your blood test results your doctors need to know.
It was in the 90's about 3-4 yrs ago and then it went to normal again. I have had normal bloods since but had my bloods done last week it had gone to 100 again.
I'm no doctor, but if indian gooseberry is an herb, I wouldn't risk it. I've been told by transplant hepatologists not to take milk thistle or any herbs.
Has anyone diagnosed you yet? No herbs.
