I've had this skin tag on my neck for about a year and it's never caused any problems, then a week ago it was sore and red, since then it's leaked puss and developed a small lump underneath that keeps changing in size.

Possibly not a skin tag but a cyst under the skin which has filled and become infected. Just to be sure do see your doctor…your pics arent totally clear but better to get it checked out. If it is a cyst it will continually fill and discharge ,but it does look odd. Its even possibly a cutaneous horn.
