there are several posts to this topic, but no one seems to answer at them anymore.
The problems began 10 months ago (June 2020) when I felt a twitch or sting at tip of my penis (the meatus) when having sex. The meatus soon became more red, got inflamed and swollen. At first I thought it was the coil of my then-girlfriend but problems got worse although she got the coil removed. I also have to say that I used a cream with cortisone and applied it on the glans 30 days instead of 10 some months before my problems in June 2020 began because of another problem. I also have to say that I masturbated very often and without lube.
In October 2020 I made STD tests. They said there were Ureo, Myko and also different bacteria. (E.coli, Staphylococcus, Citrobacter…) From November 2020 till February 2021 I got 4 different antibiotics but no improvement at the meatus.
I try to reduce sex and masturbation to a very minimum, but mostly after very gentle masturbation (I just touch the skin around the glans, not the meatus or glans at all) the sting and burning pain comes back immediately.
Now I have the suspicion, it could be something with viruses. (HSV1/2, Adenovirus, CMV, EBV…) There are some medical articles in the net about this.
There also seems to be a connection to the disease “Lichen Planus” or “Pelvic Floor Dysfunction” or “Pudenal Neuralgia” and stress in general.
Does anyone of you have the same problems? What did you do? Thanks a lot!
