"Inflamed cells in breast???" PLEASE HELP!

hello,

i am confused on something the nurse told me.. And when I had her explain to me what it meant exactly she didn't really explain it at all. Just pretty much repeated what she already said.

i have had this lump in my left breast for a little while, the doctor wanted me to get a biopsy so I did. They said it isn't an infection but just "inflamed cells pretty much". They didn't tell me anything To do to help it.

also during the biopsy he like suctioned a piece of my nipple out because the lump is so close to the surface....I had to get stitches.

And  it seems that the lump is changing and getting bigger not better.

Has anyone heard of "inflamed cells" in the breast or anywhere? I would just like to know the meaning of it and what I can do to get it to go away. It doesn't really hurt that much but it bothersome when it get pushed on or touched.

i just went to the naturopath a few days ago and she took some blood... I have very very low vitamin d levels it is at 17.3 and the normal range reads 30-100. Also my LDH was low to 117 and the normal read 119-140ish. I am not sure if that means anything or has something to do with this beast lump.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Have read of this...hope it helps clarify what the nurse meant. Inflamed cells are usually called Mastitis....but they said didnt find any so try not to worry.

You can always go tothe Doctor and get him/her to explain things to you.

I have had lumpy breasts, sometimes it can be your immune system fighting against a virus that then causes inflammation. I had it which also caused my left arm out too hurt. I found a limo many years ago and had it tested and they said it's just part of me and I could have had it removed but I could t see the point as it wasn't bothering me. If it hurts I would say that's a mixture of hormones and maybe inflammation. Get a second opinion to be safe Hun. But don't worry yourself yet. The body can do funny things sometimes as I know. Myself .

Thank you dear for your response. Be well smile

Well they said it was inflamed cells not infection so it is inflamed cells matitis is an infection isnt it?
