Had fungal infection from masturbation; cleared up with anti-dandruff shampoo.
However, some "under skin" elements remain. Doesn't hurt. Wondering if you have any product / solution you can recommend to kill fungus? I have been looking at Scholl's nail treatment but it's expensive. I need something strong that will kill it for good.

Full story:
On work trip in Ukraine (30 degree heat), was in the bathroom of our apartment masturbating. I had no lube and I managed to develop a cut on the edge of the foreskin.
Not thinking anything of it, I peeled the skin back and left it to heal. After 2 / 3 days, lots of white appeared on the end of the glans and foreskin. It did not hurt / smell.
After reading online, I found others suggesting it was a "candida" infection and that using anti-dandruff shampoo should remove it. I used the shampoo and it worked.
However, small "under skin" elements remained. There are two types - on the foreskin itself, they were small white "nodes" which were pronounced. On the glans - mainly discolouration from something under the surface (looks like veins of white).
I tried some home remedies but nothing worked. Eventually, I got annoyed and used Verucca/Wart treatment on the foreskin nodes. This worked... for most of them.
Several of the nodes would not budge. In fact, when I used the wart treatment, one of them grew slightly larger. I've not been sexually active for the duration so I doubt this is a STI.
I am 99.9% sure it's fungal, but I think that the "under skin" element means I have to actually kill the spores living inside the skin. I am happy to use the wart treatment again but I am looking for a treatment I can apply to the skin when it's open.
Already been to the doctor and he had a good poke around the penis. He prescribed hydrocortizone and another cream I've since forgotten. Neither worked.
