hello
iv had this strange ingrown hair for the past 2 months, iv been to see my GP about it, i saw a nurse and she said it was just an ingrown hair and to come back if it doesn't heal, iv been back twice and i just want some second opinions if that is ok.
the nurse didn't give anything the first visit, but second visit she prescribed (Fucidin) which to be honest just made it red and iritated.
i have tried to find an ingrown hair in it, there doesn't seem to be anything inside, and it does feel like there is a small lump under the skin.
it doesn't hurt, and it doesn't bleed or itch, it did have puss in it if i squeeze it but i have been avoiding touching it for a while now.
please help im just worried if this is something terrible :( its located on my left outer labia by the way. i also should add, i get razor bumps allot, they never usually last this long, and i shave down there.

Hi, it does look and sound like a sebaceous cyst. Sometimes it’s not an hair follicule but the oil glands that gets inflamed. They are very common and annoying but benign. They do sometimes come back, especially if they rub against your pantie line. The best thing to do is nothing… You can apply a warm compress to help it drain but avoid popping it or messing with it… it can get infected. Keep it clean with gentle soap.

it is healing, just extremely slowly
