Inguinal Hernia truss?

For inguinal hernia Should I wear the truss on bare skin or over the underwear? I appreciate any advice. Thanks

I would say over to stop irritation.

I think so too. The hospital one is quite rough but others I have bought are much softer. Elastic. No Velcro.

Good luck. Do you have an inguinal hernia? I am stiil in pain and suffering from hernia repair surgery x 3. Do your research before agreeing on operating.

The instructions on the one I have suggest on your skin but I prefer to wear it over my underwear. You could try it both ways and see which works best for you.

Hi Tay. Mine was actually for an incisional hernia, but they might make others. The brand name is Thermodactyl and they are made in Spain. I got mine from a catalogue but that was one we get in New Zealand. A company called Damart. But you never know? Sorry if this is not much help.
