I experience daily physical symptoms everyday, racing heart, palpitations, chest pain, stomach issues, sweats and insomnia. I just need someone to talk too and hoping someone can relate...
Hello Christina,
My heart goes out to you. It's a very scary feeling indeed. I myself have made a few er visits overwhelming concerned I was going to die.
I experienced a traumatic event in 2013 and had intense feelings after that that I was going to die (mainly heart attack) or go crazy. I had trouble leaving the house for awhile and I felt like I was in a constant state of panic. I had this sense of impending doom.
From what I understand the dying and going crazy thoughts are from panic disorder, which is one of the most treatable disorders either through medication or cbt therapy.
So that was comforting for me. . .
I did look into emdr (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and that can help with trauma and anxiety, PTSD etc.
I'm going to go out on an limb here and say that alcohol doesn't help anxiety at all! Most of all because it sucks all of your n vitamins, you may want to check into a super b complex.
Anyway, I don't want to write a novel lol, but you are definitely NOT alone on how you feel, and it is not permanent. There are definite steps you can take on your own to help heal and alleviate those symptoms. I hope that helps a bit.
I have the same problem.. Iam drinking anxiety medication.. At least I can sleep. And heart is better as well. I bought a ⌚ that trace my heart rate.
