Inside of urethra painful and blue - Anybody knows what this could be?

Anybody knows what this could be? Ever since a month or two I began having pain. I originally thought it was the glans but I found out the pain is actually coming from inside my urethra. Looking at the inside of my urethra, I see it has blue spots/bruises (see photo). It looks a bit worse in real life but it's hard to photograph correctly.

It also stings a bit after I pee, and sometimes hurts a bit. It especially hurts after sex. I can't have sex a second time because it's too painful. Giving it rest doesn't seem to help, but not giving it rest definitely makes things worse. There is no discharge. No smell, I don't seem to have any other symptoms. I can't seem to find a STD or STI that just has these issues. I'm currently abroad until the end of the year, so I can't visit my GP. I can't do a STD test because it's very expensive here (I don't think my insurance covers this). I have an appointment with an urologist, but the waiting time is 3 months. Anybody knows what this could be?

u need to see a doctor could be a few things specially if pain after weeing if u have an infection of any kind in the urethra it can spread beyond and into the kidneys and its not pleasant

Thomas, fully agree with Kim, you cannot let this develop any further - you need a Doctor A.S.P !

None. That's why it's a bit strange and I'm unclear about what it could be.

usually with trich u get a foul smelling discharge i would get tested for all stds an have an have a urine culture done to cover both stds and uti theres many causes could also be swollen veins or something like that it looks very purple

I think with all (male) STDs there's almost always discharge or something obvious (like genital warts). I don't think that's the case here.

Could be good or bad news!

im having exactly the same issue as yours . been 6 month took every medicine still no progress

not all stds have symptoms for example some men that have chlamydia hav no symptoms at all everyones different i guess

Neisseria meningitidis is the closest thing ive found, a close relative to the bacteria that causes gonorrhoea. from what ive read, its spread sexually also by saliva and mucus. it wont show up on an std test but ive got urethritis symptoms and all neg std tests

same here, it's driving me crazy i tested negative for other STDs and took some antibiotics, but this won't go away.

has anyone here taken a herpes test in the first two months with a negative result? im worried i was given a herpes test too soon. igG antibodies take at least 2 months to be detectable, which is what is needed to be accurately tested.

im still waiting to take mine. i took an IGG 2 weeks after symptoms started but was negative and i heard the same. gonnna take it again in november. i will let you know then

Any updates on your situation? Did you ever find out what caused it?
