I have sleep problem for a about a week sleeping very late. My anxiety get bad when I can't sleep good. Melatonin wasn't helping so I'm trying a new one call unisom hope this helps. Any advice please much is needed.
Be carareful with sleeping pills. They are habit forming and some keep you groggy the next day. I dint remeber if you use meds but they can interact so check and be sure. Might be all easier to speak with your doctor/gp.
I have appointment on Monday but it seems like forever. I also don't know if my period is causing my insomnia anxiety.
Hi JudI, Anxiety & lack of sleep are not at all good.I think you need to make time for You eg at a weekend an hour at least resting on your bed.Try & listen to relaxation Cds. Also try lavender oil on your temples.& kool sheets on your head.Rest whenever you can.Regards Amanda

What about trying some exercise or something during the day to help burn off the anxious feelings? Don't put pressure on yourself to sleep your body will sleep when it wants too, try going to bed early, most people lookto get 8 hours sleep because that's what they have been told all there life, so it's embedded into you, so go maybe an hour or 2 earlier and relax, if you sleep you sleep 🙂
