22/9/14 hi ralph, Have just read your message sent to me, like you i have had insomnia for over 5 yrs in fact it is now 6am and i have been awake all night
If the Celexa makes youm feel terrible your GP should change it to say Ativan or clonazepam or to a combined antidepressant which also relieves anxiety, dont struggle on your own, you muist tell your GP how the celexa makes you feel and tell him or her it muist be chnaged , dont be intimidated by GP'S i hope this helps , please let me know, ah yes i call the crisis centre or breathing space at all hours and it helps, crisis centre is at leith free number 08088010414 24 hr service breathing space you can get if you google them, they are both terrific charities and do help,TRY ! Callum

28.9.14 Hello, As a Medico, reading what your suffering, mny first thought was to get to what is causing the anxiety as no GP will dish out anti anxiety medications unless you are diagnosed as having an anxiety disorder, & that would have to be made by a specialist in Anxiety disorders, there is massive amounts of help out there, counselling helped me enormously, Excercise definately helps , breathing methods also helps, I do them all, I have two dogs who have helped me enormously in beating anxiety, after the 3 walks they get i feel so relaxed
and that is all the excersice i do now, before i was addicted to aerobics 6 times a week for 5 yrs , Excerice in any form is one of the best forms of helping alleviate anxiety and depression .
please dont suffer, talk to your GP and when booking ask for a double apppointment so you can talk, we are all allowed to do this, I do it all the time, also find a good therapist who specialises in helping people with Anxiety disorders, ask your gp or just googe it for someone local to you not overly expensive
I am here , also there are help lines, the best i haven found are both Breathing space and the Crisis centre both open 24/7 call them at any hour, they are fantastic, I'm in edinburgh so not sure if they are UK wide ??? the free tel number is 08088010414 call them its free. cheers, Callum
