four months post op and all I can say is "marvellous ". I can walk for miles, my golf has improved, I can hit the ball further and most of all I am not in any pain now. Just as a guideline, I am pensionable age. Good luck to all who are due to have the operation. Tony

Thank you so much Tony!!! I love all of you my fellow hippies. I am pre op (surgery is scheduled for March 22nd .. one week away)! I went for my last pre op appt with my surgeon today. It was perfect timing for me to ready your "inspiration". I hope you keep us updated

Good on you Tony! It is nerve wracking before the big event and a relief to read of positive results.

As most people say on here, the first couple of days afterwards are the hardest, and realising you are OA pain free is the best feeling!
