If you have also experienced lower back issues with exercise you may find it useful to take some vids to observe your posture and use a mirror to see if you have for example sagging or rounded shoulders which may be increasing the load on your lower back, if so correcting the upper spine posture may be all it needs to sort lower back issues and take a lot of pressure of yourself.

Hi Terry, you will see I posted about a year ago but am not so active on this board now. I had a herniated disc and was due to get the dreaded back surgery.
I worked with an Egoscue postural alignment specialist and saw that my posture was off. Through excercises directed at fixing postural issues - I became much better and avoided surgery.
Our bodies have a fundamental design and over the recent decades with changes in technology we are breaching.
We are not designed to sit 8 hours a day hunched over a computer.
I’m a firm believer now that posture is a key thing in good health
